Characteristics, injuries, and clinical outcomes of geriatric trauma patients in Japan: an analysis of the nationwide trauma registry database

Abstract: Geriatric trauma is a major socio-economic problem, especially among the aging Japanese society. Geriatric people are more vulnerable to trauma than younger people; thus, their outcomes are often severe.
