Changes of Structural-Phase Condition in 18CrNi3MoA-SH Steel After Elektrolyte-Plasma Processing

Abstract: The research shows the results of electrolyte-plasma treatment influence on structure-phase state, mechanical properties and wear-resistance of drilling tool steel samples. The comparative analysis of microstructure, microhardness and wear-resistance of the samples in initial state and after electrolyte-plasma treatment is represented. It was found out that 18CrNi3MoA-Sh steel microstructure has fine-grained martensite-bainite structure after the treatment. It was determined that 18CrNi3MoA-Sh steel possesses … Show more

“…While electrolytic plasma carburization significant difference is achieved in core properties and the surface layer. This results from the fact that at chemical-thermal processing the chemical composition is being changed, that significantly influences physico-mechanical properties of steel details [1][2][3].…”
