Abstract:The change of film microstructure against film thickness is quantitatively examined through the evaluation of magnetic anisotropy including local anisotropy fluctua tion. In Fe-B-N films, selected for this purpose, it is clarified through the evaluation of local anisotropy fluctuation that microstructure of the film drastically changes with decreasing film thickness especially from 0.1~m. Experimental results for film magnetostriction suggest that film structure gradually changes during film preparation, and i… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
