“…The results of the mating study are an indication of biological species which showed that morphologically identified as F. proliferatum were certainly F. proliferatum. A high number of successful crosses was also reported by Armengol et al (2005) where 34 from 36 isolates of F. proliferatum isolated from ornamental palms were categorized as MP-D.
