Cell and Tissue Biology Paves a Path to Breast Cancer Prevention

Abstract: SUMMARY We hypothesize that breast cancer susceptibility stems from interactions between difficult-to-modify cultural and dietary habits and aging processes that are modifiable. We propose a pathway to prevention that uses human organotypic systems that recapitulate hallmarks of aging in situ in order to better understand and to modulate the biological consequences of aging in breast.
