CE of inorganic species – A review of methodological advancements over 2009–2010

Abstract: This article is the seventh in a series examining biannually the methodological developments in the field of CE analysis of inorganic species and covers relevant documents published between January 2009 and December 2010. Following an analysis of the significant accomplishments that have impacted the field in two recent years, a survey of advances in general CE methodology is presented. Subsequently, several notable trends that can be perceived in this well-established field are discussed: the continuing rise … Show more

“…High-frequency impedance detection, now mostly called “capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detection”, abbreviated as C 4 D, is mostly employed for detection in capillary zone electrophoresis (CE); reviews of recent developments in this field can be found, e.g., in references [38]. The present paper deals with less traditional geometric arrangements of the detection cells and applications of contactless impedance detectors.…”

“…The ACE has recently been used to determine the stability constants of uranyl citrate complex and a number of actinide oxalate complexes . The more detailed information on stability constant determination of metal and actinide ions with diverse ligands obtained by ACE can be also found in recent reviews .…”
