A widely used technique for the deposition of the CdTe absorber layer was the close spaced sublimation (CSS) because the close-spaced sublimation (CSS) was a relatively inexpensive technique for deposition of polycrystalline thin-films due to the moderate operating pressure, simple configuration and high growth rates [2][3][4][5].
