Causative pathogens and antibiotic resistance in children hospitalized for urinary tract infection

Abstract: The prevalence of UTI with ESBL (+) bacterial strains with multi-drug resistance is increasing in the hospitalized pediatric population, therefore rational use of antibiotics is essential.
