It is well known that the application of radar is becoming more and more popular with the development of the signal technology progress. This paper lists the current radar signal research, the technical progress achieved, and the existing limitations. According to radar signal respective characteristics, the design and classification of the radar signal are introduced to reflect signal’s differences and advantages. The multidisciplinary processing technology of the radar signal is classified and compared in details referring to adaptive radar signal process, pulse signal management, digital filtering signal mode, and Doppler method. The transmission process of radar signal is summarized, including the transmission steps of radar signal, the factors affecting radar signal transmission, and radar information screening. The design method of radar signal and the corresponding signal characteristics are compared in terms of performance improvement. Radar signal classification method and related influencing factors are also contrasted and narrated. Radar signal processing technology is described in detail including multidisciplinary technology synthesis. Adaptive radar signal process, pulse compression management, and digital filtering Doppler method are very effective technical means, which has its own unique advantages. At last, the future research trends and challenges of technologies of the radar signals are proposed. The conclusions obtained are beneficial to promote the further promotion applications both in theory and practice. The study work of this paper will be useful for choosing more reasonable radar signal processing technology methods.

In order to investigate the distribution characteristics of gas-particle two-phase flow in the diesel particulate filter in the capture process, a mathematical model of gas-particle two-phase flow for inside-and-outside filter had been established in the capture process according to the mass conservation equation, momentum conservation equation, and k-ε turbulence equation. The model verification was carried out with the experimental and simulated of flow distribution characteristics of gas-particle two-phase. The obtained results showed that the static pressure gradient along the radial distribution was greater at the inlet of the filter in capture process in the diesel particulate filter, which could easily lead to causing eventual fatigue damage due to stress concentration in the front-end of filter; moreover, the weaker the vortex strength of gas-particle formed in expansion pipe was, the better uniformity of flow velocity and soot concentration distribution were. Therefore, the established mathematical model can be used for predicting gas-particle flow velocity distribution in the diesel particulate filter.

A biomass pellet rotary burner was chosen as the research object, in order to study the influence of excess air coefficient on the combustion phenomenon of biomass rotary burner, the finite element simulation model of a biomass rotary burner was established, and simulation results of a biomass rotary burner were verified by the experiment. The computational fluid dynamics software was applied to simulate the combustion characteristics of biomass rotary burner in a steady-state condition, and the effect of excess air coefficient on temperature field and component concentration field in biomass rotary burner was analyzed. The results show that the flue gas flow rate inside the burner gradually increases with the increase of air velocity, the area with large temperature is mainly concentrated in the middle region of the rotary burner, and the maximum combustion temperature also appeared in the middle region of the combustion chamber, and the formation area of CO decreases with the increase of excess air coefficient. CO2 is mainly concentrated in the middle region of the burner, and the CO2 generating region decreases with the increase of excess air coefficient. The experimental value of the combustion temperature of the biomass rotary burner is in good agreement with the simulation results.
