Carreira E Valorização Docente: Expectativas Apontadas No Plano Nacional De Educação (2014-2024)

Abstract

This work aims to analyze the consequences of not implementing career plans in the valuation of the teaching profession. Through a qualitative approach, this bibliographic and documental study analyzes data provided by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP) and legislative documents such as the National Education Plan (2014-2024) and the Federal Constitution (CF), on the situation of Brazilian municipalities regarding the existence of the career plan. The study shows that despite the law that governs the current PNE, Law No. 13.005/2014, provide a period of two years to meet the goal that ensures the existence of the Career and Remuneration Plan (PCR), there is still a large percentage of municipalities that do not have or do not execute it. It concludes that the effectiveness of the career provides the development of the functional life of the teacher, therefore the lack of effectiveness promotes and accentuates the devaluation of the teaching professional.
