Carlos Spegazzini (1858-1926): Travels and Botanical Work on Vascular Plants

Abstract: Carlos Luis Spe^azzini (1858â€"1926 was a leading figure in Argentinian natural history, mainly recognized for his mycological and vascular plant studies. Information concerning Spegazzini's travels and his botanical work focusing on vascular plants, including his specimens and publications, is provided. The collecting expeditions of Spegazzini and collaborators in Argentina are summarized.
