“…reported that symptoms appeared 2 to 36 months (mean 13.60 ± 7.52) before the diagnosis of symptomatic patients with atrial myxoma in Serbia. Moreover, many studies as well as our results showed that the incidence of dyspnea, the most common symptom in patients with cardiac tumors, was not as high [19–21]. Therefore, we proposed that symptomatic patients be examined promptly and that asymptomatic patients in high‐risk age groups undergo regular medical examinations to diagnose as many patients as possible before embolism, which had a negative impact on health and the economy as POAF.…”
