“…Today, a wide range of CNS are known, which are synthesized by various methods: plasma-chemical evaporation of graphite in the gas phase [5 -11] and liquid media in the presence of catalysts [12 -19]; catalytic pyrolysis of carbohydrates [20] and other. The methods make it possible to obtain both soluble [20][21][22][23][24][25][26] and insoluble carbon nanomaterials (CNM) [27]. These CNS are actively used to create modern composites [10, 28 -34] and mechanical mixtures "CNSmetal", which can be used as a working fluid for new hydrogen accumulators.…”

“…In particular, since the plasma membrane of epithelial cells is the first cellular structure that the particles encounter, it is particularly necessary to understand whether particles induce changes in the plasma membrane and how they are taken up by the cells. Most of the studies conducted till now have focused on the evaluation of MWCNT influence on cell metabolism and function (Tejral et al ., ; Kartel et al ., ; Kermanizadeh et al ., ; Ursini et al ., ; Coccini et al ., ; Haniu et al ., ; Jiang et al ., ; Lai et al ., ; Madani et al ., ; Liu et al ., ), while detailed studies about the effects of MWCNTs on cell morphology and interaction with cellular membranes are still insufficient. The knowledge of how MWCNTs interact and adhere to cell membranes, and through which mechanism they are transferred into cells is important not only to understand their potential toxicity, but also to develop methods to ensure their safe use.…”

“…In our study, we exploit the spin probe method, which is successfully used in molecular biology, pharmacology, and biomedical researches [10,11]. In this method, the transformation of electron spin (paramagnetic) resonance (ESR) spectrum of stable nitroxyl radical (probe or labeling) [12,13] after binding with a biological object is controlled. In our experiments from ESR spectra of probes with lipophilic organic components, the correlation time τ c of Brownian rotational diffusion of the probes in cell membranes and in hydrophobic cavities of plasma proteins can be evaluated before and after adsorption on graphene oxide.…”
