“…Alterations ranging from moderate degenerative (++) to necrotic were ascertained in group 2. Findings observed in this study were in agreement with those observed in CYP toxicity studies (2,5,8,27). The role of CB2 in liver diseases is controversial.…”

“…However, the kidney of group A showed severe hemorrhages, necrosis along with occlusion of fluid in renal tubules lumen, and accumulation of inflammatory cells in renal spaces resulted in interstitial nephritis (Figure 1e). Similar renal abnormalities were also reported in albino mice (Islam et al, 2014), tilapia fish (Hamed et al, 2021), broiler chicks (Ali et al, 2020), and rats (Datta et al, 2021), while the literature is lacking in evidence about CF intoxication in cattle egret.…”

“…Carbofuran (C 12 H 15 NO 3 : 2,3-dihydro-2,2-dimethyl-1-7-benzofuranyl benzofuranyl N -methyl carbamate) is an important carbamate pesticide that is used in agriculture in several parts of the world . Research findings indicate that frequent use of this pesticide may have toxic effects in the central nervous system, along with the liver, skeletal muscles, kidneys, and heart of even the nonspecified mammalian systems. Like other hepatotoxic pesticides, chronic exposure to carbofuran can cause necrosis of the hepatocytes via oxidative injuries in the structure and functions of cellular membranes. , Furthermore, carbamates are known acetyl cholinesterase inhibitors that cause reversible carbamylation of the hydroxyl (−OH) group of the serine residue at the active site and increase acetylcholine . In this respect, there is a relationship between augmentation of acetylcholine and the extent of lipid peroxidation as well as cell damage …”
