Show more

“…Other important micro-minerals to human health such as Cu, Fe, and Mn are present in trace amounts (0.04% of ash). Similarly, the presence of toxic elements such as Pb, Ba, Al, Li, and Be is in trace amounts, which does not compromise this food (0.22% of ash content) [32,67], and the elements are all derived from chicken feet.…”

“…The use of collagen can be used in the prevention and/or treatment of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. A clinical study showed efficiency in reducing joint pain and improving patient mobilization when supplemented (ZIEGLER and SGARBIERI, 2009). Figure 3a -Comparison of hip pain/discomfort measured by Lequesne (Mean ± DP) during study times with collagen mix supplementation.…”

“…Other nutrients such as proteins and vitamin C act directly in the synthesis of collagen, an important component in the skin structure. They act directly on the specific functions acquired by the several combinations of structural amino acids and on the formation of hydroxylases which transform lysine and proline, nutrients which are responsible for the synthesis of this collagen 30,31,34,39,40 .…”
