Características E Aspirações Do Atual Graduando De Enfermagem: - Comparação Entre Duas Instituições De Ensino

Abstract

O trabalho identifica o graduando de enfermagem através da caracterização pessoal, social, econômica e de escolaridade e suas expectativas em relação ao curso e à profissão em duas instituições de ensino localizadas na cidade de São Paulo.

A study in the nursing field indicates that the most common age of first-year students is between 20 and 22 years old (7) . Other studies report changes in the profile of students from a public school in the city of São Paulo revealing a decrease in the students' age when data collected from the period between 1973 and 1982 are compared to data from 1988, in which most students were between the ages of 20 and 21 years old (13) .…”

Ano 2030 - a aurora da profissão do milênio: enfermagem - uma visão prospectiva de estudantes de graduação de enfermagem

“…Contudo, segundo dados obtidos nessa população de ingressantes do curso de Enfermagem da Universidade de São Paulo, nem sempre os jovens escolhem a carreira apenas baseados nesses valores, mas pela vontade de "ajudar as pessoas" ou um ideal, dados esses que obtiveram grande freqüência (70%) entre os estudantes em um trabalho realizado em 1981, por ARCURI et al(1983. Em trabalho similar realizado por HORTA et al (1988) e por TAVARES et al (1995) esses autores encontrarem também esse tipo de respostas entre as três mais frequentes. Nota-se, pois, que entre os jovens prevalece sempre o idealismo e o interesse de ajudar o próximo como um fator na escolha de uma profissão.…”
