Capsaicin Inhibits Shigella flexneri Intracellular Growth by Inducing Autophagy

Abstract: Antibiotic treatment plays an essential role in preventing Shigella infection. However, incidences of global rise in antibiotic resistance create a major challenge to treat bacterial infection.
