“…However, in women with PCOS, Ullah et al [16] observed a positive correlation between the levels of PNX-14 and LH, FSH, total testosterone, and P 4 , and a negative correlation between the levels of PNX-14 and E 2 and insulin. Similar to our findings, Rybska et al [18] found that the plasma PNX concentration is negatively correlated with P 4 in healthy bitches. On the other hand, in cultures of immortalized hypothalamic neurons, estrogen and leptin do not alter the expression of Smim20 [42].…”

“…C/EBP and OCT-1 are two essential transcription factors of the GnRH promoter (Schalla and Stengel, 2018;Treen A. K. et al, 2016). Rybska et al found that the development of canine uterine disorders, including endometrial hyperplasia or pyometra induced a downregulation of phoenixin and its receptor GPR173 expression (Rybska et al, 2022). Phoenixin can activate the cAMP/PKA pathway and lead to CREB phosphorylation through GPR173, and it induced an increase expression of genes related to follicular development (Xuan Phuoc, et al, 2019).…”
