Can misoprostol reduce blood loss in laparoscopy-assisted vaginal hysterectomy?

Abstract: These data do not support the use of rectal misoprostol to reduce blood loss during LAVH. The pharmacoclinical effects of misoprostol in the uterus should be clarified.
