Adolescents and girls were associated with lower HRQoL scores. There was no association between the overall HRQoL score and the characteristics of the maltreatment; however, the type of abuse and the victim's relationship with the perpetrator were only related to some dimensions. These findings may assist maltreatment care providers in planning strategies to reduce the consequences that violence may cause.

Wzrastająca liczba dzieci i młodzieży zmagających się z przewlekłymi chorobami oraz innymi problemami zdrowotnymi rodzi potrzebę bliższego przyjrzenia się problematyce trudności w funkcjonowaniu psychospołecznym wynikających ze złego stanu zdrowia. Diagnozowanie poczucia jakości życia u licealistów i jej zależności od zdrowia jest procedurą niezbędną do określenia możliwości wczesnej interwencji w przeciwdziałaniu negatywnym psychospołecznym skutkom choroby przewlekłej. Celem opracowania jest określenie poczucia jakości życia licealistów z problemami zdrowotnymi w porównaniu z poczuciem jakości życia zdrowych rówieśników. Przebadano 251 uczniów lubelskich liceów. Zastosowano standaryzowane narzędzie diagnostyczne KIDSCREEN-52 w adaptacji Joanny Mazur i in. Analiza danych pozwala stwierdzić, że jakość życia zależna od zdrowia u młodzieży z problemami zdrowotnymi jest istotnie niższa niż u zdrowych rówieśników, zarówno jeśli chodzi o samopoczucie fizyczne oraz psychiczne, jak i o funkcjonowanie psychospołeczne w środowisku szkolnym. Na szczególną uwagę zasługują kwestie dotyczące odczuwanych emocji, samopoczucia psychicznego, obrazu siebie oraz środowiska szkolnego. Słowa kluczowe: jakość życia zależna od zdrowia, młodzież, problemy zdrowotne. WPROWADZENIE Choroby przewlekłe, jak również inne zaburzenia zaliczające się do problemów zdrowotnych, powodują szereg zmian w każdej płaszczyźnie życia młodego człowieka: codziennych obowiązków, rozwoju poznawczego, emocji, obrazu siebie, relacji z innymi ludźmi i otoczeniem (Solans i in. 2008). Choroba przewlekła może mieć szczególnie negatywny wpływ na relacje z rówieśnikami i funkcjonowanie szkolne
