Abstract. The article presents the concept of business process modeling by using dynamic processes. An extended definition of the business process allows to construct a mechanism for dynamic selection of actions performed in order, which makes it possible to achieve the process goal assumed in the definition. The mechanism for selecting actions subsequently taken in the dynamic process constitutes extension of the functionalities in the workflow process, including the process progress status, WfMS and service environments.

Abstract. This article outlines the methodology of the IT system risk analysis and management, including various categories of risk factors significant from the point of view of the sensitive data processing and completeness of the procedure for determining the IT system risk level. The presented methodology is divided into the IT system risk analysis and the risk management method. The IT system risk level assessed by the risk analysis method described in this article constitutes an input value for the risk management method outlined in the further part hereof, referring to the IT systems used for the processing of documents at different levels of sensitivity.

Analytical processing system of business processes, methods of exploration of business process definitions and instances

Abstract. The article tackles the topics related to systems, methods and mechanisms for storing process definitions and instances for the purpose of their analytical processing -process warehouses and general architecture of such process warehouses, including tools allowing their extract, transform, load (ETL) as well as analytical processing and exploration of stored process definitions and instances -i.e. the process mining. Furthermore, the article describes a mechanism for storing processes, with the use of a network database, and one of the methods for researching into similarities of the processes through the tagging of generic processes.
