Abstract. The article outlines the application of the processing approach to the functional description of the designed IT system supporting the operations of the secret office, which processes classified documents. The article describes the application of the method of incremental modeling of business processes according to the BPMN model to the description of the processes currently implemented ("as is") in a manual manner and target processes ("to be"), using the RFID technology for the purpose of their automation. Additionally, the examples of applying the method of structural and dynamic analysis of the processes (process simulation) to verify their correctness and efficiency were presented. The extension of the process analysis method is a possibility of applying the warehouse of processes and process mining methods.
This work considers the problem of studying the strategy of equipment location on the firefighting vehicle. A unified firefighter’s vehicle Euro Truck is being designed. The problem of location the emergency equipment on the vehicle is very important from the point of view of firefighters ergonomic. It is consider two ergonomic criterion functions: how long is the distance of horizontal and vertical displacement of equipment during its unloading. The third ergonomic criterion is optimization of firefighters work time. These criteria lead to a reduction in the physical load of firefighters’ bodies. Computer simulation, including virtual reality, allows for a very detailed study of the work of firefighters during the removal of equipment from the vehicle. A simulation environment with virtual reality was built and tested in order to measure ergonomic criteria during firefighters’ work in a rescue operation for various action scenarios.
In the paper the planning process of a land battle is presented. The actions on a battlefield should be planned on the basis of a reconnaissance (decision situation recognition) and possible both own troops action and counteractions of enemy. A course of action (CoA) should be verified and we propose to use the special tool for recommendation of CoA. The core of the tool there is the deterministic simulator which is described on the basis of combat model and considering complementary processes of firing and movement. The toolset is presented along with the scenario editor, military equipment, simulator manager and multicriteria estimation of COA.
The article outlines existing solutions in the area of graphs and temporal databases. It provides explanation for why the temporal graph database was created. Furthermore, the article also describes the concept and assumptions about the temporal graph database, including a proposal of two methods for representing temporal data in graph databases. Full write method assumes creating a new database object for each state of being. While incremental method writes only such features and relationships that were subject to change. Regardless of the data write method used, the data may be returned in a historically unordered or ordered manner. The article outlines assumptions for both methods of representing data.
