Budd-Chiari Syndrome: Some Pathologic-Anatomic Aspects

Abstract: The obstruction of the outflow of blood from the hepatic veins is generally called the Budd-Chiari syndrome. In the present work the most important pathologic-anatomic findings concerning this rare disorder are discussed as are its possible causes.
