“…Although M. chelonae was isolated repeatedly, the resected lung specimen showed no characteristic findings of NTM infection, and the presence of NTM was regarded as colonization. Hanson et al reported the case of a 14-year-old boy with ABPA who yielded M. avium complex in his sputum (15).
