“…A premise of the excellent wave-absorbing performance is that incident waves could transmit into the absorbers and there are almost no reflections on the interface of air and absorbers. Usually the ratio of the input impedance ( Z in ) and that of free space ( Z 0 = (μ 0 /ε 0 ) 1/2 = ∼377 Ω) is used to characterize the impedance matching properties, and Z in / Z 0 = 1 means the input waves enter the materials without any reflections. , Figure a shows the frequency dependences of the impedance ratio ( Z in / Z 0 ) for the paraffin composites at the optimized thickness. A high impedance matching degree is achieved for Fe-0 at the low-frequency region, while the paraffin composites with Fe-1, Fe-2, and Fe-4 possess high impedance matching properties in the high-frequency band.…”

“…Table 1 summarizes the electromagnetic wave absorption performances between (ZCFO/MNFO)@C-MWCNTs and related hybrids reported in other literature [65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,74,75]. It is clear that the electromagnetic absorption band of most hybrids are located in the relatively high frequency range.…”
