This CD can be most warmly recommended to those who are involved with the traditional music of the campesinos of the Andean highlands and particularly also with Quechua songs and texts. This well-balanced sound documentation provides in a refreshing way a glimpse into those. older playing traditions and techniques (punteado and rasgueado) of which one can also still find traces of in modern urban charango folklore.
