Blue light kills Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans due to its endogenous photosensitizers

Abstract: These results encourage further studies on the potential use of these blue light-mediated auto-photosensitization processes in the treatment of periodontitis for the successful inactivation of Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans.
