Since technology benefits people in many areas, its effectiveness is increasing day by day. For this reason, many products and services have been digitized and made available to people. Especially in the last period, with the development of blockchain technology, there has been a significant change in the financial sector. Blockchain technology, which offers a decentralized transaction network, has contributed significantly to the development of digital currencies. In this context, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) started to work on Digital Turkish Lira (DTL) in 2021. In this context, it will enable the company tokens, which are proposed to be issued as a sub-unit of DTL, which is planned to use blockchain technology in its infrastructure, to be used in the financing of businesses, while also allowing investors to invest in Turkish Lira assets. In the research, it has been suggested that the company tokens to be issued under DTL can be traded on the Borsa Istanbul (BIST) and invested, as well as the relevant tokens can be traded. The proposed model has been examined within the scope of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which is frequently used in the research of technological innovations. The analysis process of the research was carried out with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The analysis of the research was carried out with the Smartpls 3 package program. Hypotheses H3, H5, and H8 were rejected and other hypotheses were accepted. When the results of the research were analyzed, it was determined that the factors affecting the intention to use the proposed company tokens were parallel to the literature. As a result of the analysis, it has been reached that the attitude and intention towards the use of company tokens in the proposed model are positive.

Bu çalışma, teknoloji kabul modeli çerçevesinde tüketicilerin kripto para kullanım niyetlerinin incelenmesini amaçlamıştır. Çalışmada kripto para kullanımı deneyimine sahip 228 katılımcıya online anket yöntemi kullanılarak ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizi SPSS 18 ve LISREL 8.70 paket programları ile incelenmiştir. Araştırma amacı doğrultusunda oluşturulan araştırma modeli ve kurulan hipotezler yapısal eşitlik modellemesi ile test edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda kripto paralara ilişkin algılanan kullanım kolaylığının algılanan fayda üzerinde olumlu etkisi bulunurken, kullanıma yönelik tutum üzerinde bir etkisi bulunamamıştır. Bir başka sonuçta kripto paralara ilişkin algılanan faydanın kullanıma yönelik tutum ve kullanım niyeti üzerinde etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Son olarak kripto paralara ilişkin kullanıma yönelik tutumun kullanım niyeti üzerinde etkili olduğu da görülmüştür. Araştırma sonuçları tartışılarak önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The research deals with the transformation of developing technology into products and services. The subject discussed includes a system proposal regarding the acceptance and use of the Digital Turkish Lira (DTL) that the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey is preparing to implement. The research was carried out with semi-structured in-depth interview technique, one of the qualitative data analysis methods. 10 academicians who are experts in the field of economics and finance were included. The research sample was carried out with the snowball sampling, since many people did not know about Blockchain and DTL. While the study plans to ensure that companies can borrow with more affordable costs with the integration of DTL into the market in the future, it is aimed to contribute to the Turkish economy by enabling investors to shift their investments to the currency with nominal value behind them rather than the speculative and fragile structures of cryptocurrency and token markets. Among the suggestions of the study, a system specific to the tokens to be issued by the companies, namely the Digital Turkish Coins and the Digital Turkish Coins Exchange, where these coins can be traded, has been proposed.
