Birefringence imaging of posterior eye by multi-functional Jones matrix optical coherence tomography

Abstract: Abstract:A clinical grade prototype of posterior multifunctional Jones matrix optical coherence tomography (JM-OCT) is presented. This JM-OCT visualized depth-localized birefringence in addition to conventional cumulative phase retardation imaging through local Jones matrix analysis.
