The article considers the stages of healthcare sector reforms in Russia and the impact of this process on public health as the main indicator of the social state. A definition of public health is given; the scientific significance and relevance of the research are justified. The works of foreign and domestic authors, their approaches to the study of factors affecting public health are analysed. The analysis of the state of public health in 80s-90s of the last century during the political and economic crisis is made; the transition process from the so-called “budget-funded” financing model to the “insurance” one is described. Based on statistics and expert assessments, as well as international confrontations, conclusions are drawn about the multi-year underfunding of the healthcare sector, primarily from the state budget. A new stage of reforms is analysed: since 2014, the Russian government has begun the so-called “optimization” of healthcare. Its goals, results, feedbacks from doctors and patients are stated. They show the new reform is a negative process for health system. The blunders of health care reform have been sharply marked with the beginning of the pandemic of coronavirus infection. The facts of the self-sacrificing work of the doctors and nursing personnel during the pandemic period, the measures of the Government and the society to support medical workers were described.

Trends in the development of technical means for recycling organic waste from agricultural production

Obtaining record harvests of grain crops in Russia in recent years has led to a decrease in soil fertility and degradation of agricultural lands. More than 40 million hectares of arable land require restoration. The lack of organic raw materials does not contribute to the restoration of soil fertility, and the manure and manure produced are the main sources of en-vironmental pollution. The purpose of the work was to develop trends in the development of technical means for recycling organic waste from agri-cultural production. The main method for achieving the goal was a system-atic analysis of literary sources on this topic and the results of the authors' own research. The results of the recycling of liquid, semi-liquid and solid manure into concentrated organic fertilizers are given. The main develop-ment trends: the ability to interact with animal husbandry and crop produc-tion; transfer of raw materials (organic waste of animal husbandry and crop production) into a product in the form of high-quality concentrated organic fertilizers, necessary for the restoration of soil fertility; digitalization of technological processes for the production of KOU and their differentiated application to the field by scanning the qualitative composition of nutrients in the production layer of the soil.

Production of ecological wild meat products in the hunting organizations of the Hokkaido island (Japan) and the Amur region (Russia)

With the growth of the population of our planet, the problem of food production is increasing. In this situation, the importance of hunting farms in providing people with environmentally friendly meat products is increasing. During the study period, about 380 elk, 350 red deer, 2800 roe deer, 240 reindeer, 400 musk deer and 125 bears were harvested annually in Amur region. In Japan, game meat products are obtained mainly from sika deer, wild boar and brown bear. Meat products are used in food by hunters, sold to restaurants within the country and exported. As a result of our research, we came to the following conclusions: the game products in Amur region are mainly used by the hunters themselves in their private consumption, and only a small part of them goes for sale in food stores and agricultural markets. Even smaller amounts of wild meat products go to restaurants. Hunting is unpopular in Japan, and young people in general are not ready to engage in it. In our opinion, "wild meat" is an attractive environmentally friendly product for people in Russia and Japan and can undoubtedly serve to attract tourists to places of recreation and into gastronomic tours in Japan and Russia.
