The Chlamydiales order bacteria are eukaryotic cells obligate intracellular parasites. The major purpose of the research was to study the prevalence, clinical progression and treatment of Chlamydia in cats with an azithromycin-based drug. A total of 3,388 samples for chlamydia were studied in 2019, of which 243 proved to be positive. Chlamydia was diagnosed using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique. The Azithronit drug was administered 0.5 ml per animal, 1 time per day, for 7 days. Hematological parameters were determined using the IDEXX Laser Cyte hematological analyzer, while the biochemical parameters were determined using the IDEXX Catalist analyzer (USA). In Moscow, chlamydial infection plays a significant role in the cats inflammatory eye diseases etiology. The overall infection rate of the Moscow cat population totalled 7.2%. In young animals, the incidence was higher (28.3%) than in adults (19.5%). In terms of gender, the incidence of chlamydia in female cats (56%) was higher than in males (44%). The main forms of chlamydia manifestations were those of purulent and serous conjunctivitis - 69.8% and 20.5%, respectively, keratitis - 8.7%. The treatment with azithromycin-based drugs requires only a single daily administration for 7 days to ensure the clinical signs elimination.

The paper provides information on the index of fluctuating asymmetry of the Pitsunda pine in industrial and recreational areas in the city of Tuapse (the Russian Black Sea coast of the Caucasus). It is shown that pollution is localized in the port area, and in the city center, the fluctuating asymmetry index is comparable to that for resort areas at a considerable distance from the Tuapse port. The necessity of taking into account the climate when using the coefficient of fluctuating asymmetry of the needles of the Mediterranean (Pitsunda) pine in assessing the degree of ecological well-being of various areas is shown.

The paper describes the causes of abandonment of agricultural land in various regions of the world, as well as in Russia and the Republic of Crimea, and explores the existing methods and approaches for identifying such lands using data from remote sensing of the Earth. To identify abandoned lands in Crimea, the MODIS time series analysis method of remote sensing data was used together with ground data on the location of arable land using Vega-Science service. The territory of Krasnogvardeisky and Belogorsky municipal districts of the Republic of Crimea was chosen; for which a vector mask of agricultural lands was created for them. When identifying unused lands to verify the classification and minimize errors, it is necessary to have data on the phenological phases of vegetation and field data on the structure of crops; use identification methods in a complex (expert, automatic classification with various approaches: random forest, vegetation index, arable land, etc.).
