Abstract:The common cutworm Spodoptera litura (Fabricius) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), was first described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1775, is a nocturnal moth, polyphagous in nature, destructive insect pest, damaging economically important crops, and decreasing the yield completely.
