Abstract:A 1 : 1 chelate complex [(C 6 H 5 ) 3 PC(COCH 3 )(COC 6 H 5 )-O,O 0 ]UO 2 (NO 3 ) 2 has been synthesized by reaction of (C 6 H 5 ) 3 PC(COCH 3 )(COC 6 H 5 ) with UO 2 (NO 3 ) 2 Á 6H 2 O in methanol at room temperature and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopy as well as by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
