Biceps vs extensor carpi radialis recovery in Frankel grades A and B in spinal cord injury patients

Abstract: Clinical literature suggests that the wrist extensors show a trend of achieving functional strength earlier than the biceps after spinal cord injury (SCI). Basic research, however, demonstrated that proximal muscles recover earlier than distal muscles after partial denervation.
