Actors ruling the world are not states or international institutions such as the United Nations but the global elite aiming to establish a single world government for the last two centuries. Those elites called global capital are structured in a dark nobility of Western world families, leading by Rockefeller and Rothschilds. Institutions like CFR, Bilderberg, Chatham House are the top instruments of the decision-making mechanism of those elites. In the 1990s, Bill Gates, who mainly in the computer business at those times, started a new study of Genetically Modified Organisms and vaccines to serve the global elite. COVID-19 we have faced today is the latest product of pandemic experiments such as MERS, SARS, H1N1. Their goal is to enforce the people to accept the digital identity through vaccination, dissolve the national economies by lockdowns, and ensure the transition into a single world government. In this study, this plan is unveiled with its details and the meaning of the big beginning.

After the Industrial Revolution that took place in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in Europe, increases in the machinery used, population and the need for energy have boosted the reliance on fossil fuels and the release of greenhouse gases. As a result of this, global temperatures, which had been in balance with the natural greenhouse effect, have increased, and the problem of climate change emerged. The search for a solution to this across boundaries phenomenon started to attract international attention in the 1970s. Since parochial actions cannot prevent climate change, the main arguments have concentrated on the fact that a solution is possible not through local or regional efforts but global ones, and each country’s contribution in proportion to its capabilities is necessary. Recent research has shown that if no solution is found, the temperatures will continue to increase even more, resulting in a severe threat to the living on earth. This article examined the factors that bring about climate change as a global problem, the symptoms and efforts related to this, and Turkey’s stance within this global effort.

Purpose This study was carried out in Igdir, where Turkey’s urban air pollution is at the highest level, and the population is among the smallest. Thus, the study aims to determine the effect of air transportation on air pollution in the most polluted city in Turkey. Design/methodology/approach The approach includes six stages: choosing the airport, accessing the flight information for the airport, classifying the aircraft that operated at the airport, determining the aircraft engines, calculating the emission amounts, calculating the landing and takeoff-based emissions. Findings Rather than devoting the resources disproportionally to the aviation sector within the scope of economic globalization, as a policy recommendation, to realize its production potential, Igdir, which has a great agricultural production capacity, considering its microclimate, fertile soil and arable land, should be urgently integrated into neighboring markets and the national market via railways. Practical implications It is inferred from the research that Turkey has to consider implementing the emissions tax policy, while the Turkish aviation sector is to realize new regulations for aircraft-engine matching to take public health and the impacts of the airports on their surroundings into consideration more seriously. Originality/value This study is an original one, as it puts the increasing pollution caused by the aircraft into a historical and political-economic perspective. Also, it is an example of an interdisciplinary work that combines environmental science and political science.
