Beta-decay energy measurements using total gamma-absorption spectroscopy

Abstract: Abstract. An application of the total 7-absorption (TGA) spectroscopy to measurements of the/~-decay energies (Q) for nuclei far from stability is described. This approach provides the Q-values with accuracies up to 60 keV. The Q values determined by this method at the IRIS facility for 64 nuclides in the mass region from A = 76 to A = 165 are presented.
