“…The NMR and IR values are similar to those found for N-coordinated metal complexes [18][19][20][21][22][23][24]. The NMR and IR values are similar to those found for N-coordinated metal complexes [18][19][20][21][22][23][24].…”

Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD. The current study examined the time course and magnitude of activity in threat processing brain regions during speech anticipation in socially anxious individuals and healthy controls (HC). Method Participants (SAD n = 58; HC n = 16) underwent functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) during which they completed a 90s control anticipation task and 90s speech anticipation task.

“…We have investigated the catalytic activity of ruthenium(IV) [Ru(η 3 :η 3 -C 10 H 16 )Cl 2 (L)] (L = imidazole ( 1a ), benzimidazole ( 1b ), N -methylimidazole ( 1c )) and ruthenium(II) [Ru(η 6 -arene)Cl 2 L] complexes ( 2a – c ) for comparative purposes. All of them have been synthesized in good yield from the commercially available dimeric precursors [{Ru(η 3 :η 3 -C 10 H 16 )Cl 2 } 2 ] and [{RuCl(μ-Cl)(η 6 -arene)} 2 ] by reaction with the appropriate ligand following procedures reported in the literature for analogous 1,2-azoles , and for 2b , c , (Scheme ).…”

“…Solvents were dried by standard methods and distilled under nitrogen before use. All reagents were from suppliers and used without further purification with the exception of compounds [{Ru(η 3 :η 3 -C 10 H 16 )(μ-Cl)Cl} 2 ] ( 1 ), [{Ru(η 6 -arene)(μ-Cl)Cl} 2 ] (arene = C 6 H 6 , p -cymene, C 6 Me 6 ), , [Ru(η 6 - p -cymene)Cl 2 (benzimidazole)] ( 2b ) , (conductivity in water, 20 °C: 173 Ω –1 cm 2 mol –1 ), [Ru(η 6 -C 6 Me 6 )Cl 2 (benzimidazole)] ( 2c ) , (conductivity in water, 20 °C: 180 Ω –1 cm 2 mol –1 ), which were prepared by following the methods reported in the literature. Infrared spectra were recorded on a Perkin-Elmer 1720-XFT spectrometer.…”
