“…Cisplatin (Cis), whose antineoplastic efficacy was discovered in 1960s, is a platinum-derivative antineoplastic agent used to treat a variety of solid organ tumors such as testis, ovaries, urinary bladder, head and neck, brain, and lungs ( 1 5 ). Despite its potent antineoplastic efficacy, Cis's toxic side effects during treatment such as nephrotoxicity, neurotoxicity, ototoxicity, myelosuppression, hepatotoxicity limits its clinical use ( 1 5 ). Studies investigating the relationship between Cis dose and toxic side effects have mostly suggested a correlation between Cis's cumulative dose and toxic side effects.…”

“…Studies investigating the relationship between Cis dose and toxic side effects have mostly suggested a correlation between Cis's cumulative dose and toxic side effects. This is particularly prominent for the liver and hematopoietic system ( 1 6 ). However, it has been shown that hepatotoxicity may also develop after a single dose or low repeated doses ( 1 ).…”

“…After emulsi cation, the particles of fat droplets in the nutrient are reduced, thereby improving the ability of digestive enzymes in the intestine; the intestinal epithelial villi also came in contact with nutrients to promote digestion and absorption of nutrients [32,33]. At the same time, the content of (R)-pantothenic acid decreased, indicating that the synthesis of CoA increased and the amount of the intermediate, acetyl-CoA, also increased [34][35][36]. This indicated that the metabolism of the 3 major nutrients returned to normal and improved the nutritional status of the model rats [37][38][39].…”

“…Tissue hypoxia results in movement of neutrophils and macrophages into the interstitium through the action of hypoxia adaptive pathways [104][105][106]. Activated neutrophils subsequently release molecular mediators, which contribute to the production of adenosine on the vascular endothelial surface, a protective factor that restores endothelial integrity [107,108].…”
