Abstract: In response to several recent studies published by Koray Konuk, Diether Schürr and Frank Kolb the author assembles the extant numismatic evidence of the early 4th century BC from Central and Western Lycia in order to reconstruct the history of the Xanthos-Valley between the end of the rule of Erbbina and the rise of Perikle and to establish the sequence of the principal political agents during that period.
