the ABCB1 gene belongs to Atp binding cassette (ABc) transporter genes that has been previously implicated in cancer progression and drug response. this study aimed to evaluate the association between the SNP 3435 and the expression of the ABCB1 gene in lung cancer patients in the polish population in comparison to clinicopathological parameters and treatment. 150 RNA and 47 DNA samples were isolated from 49 lung cancer cases including both tissue samples and blood taken from the same patients at three time points: diagnosis, 100 days and one year after the surgical intervention. Qualitative and real-time pcR analysis of expression were done, also genotyping by PCR-RFLP. Mutant homozygous TT and allele T are present statistically significantly more frequently in the group of patients with lung cancer. There is no difference with expression level in lung cancer tissue and blood sample taken from the same patients before surgical treatment. on the basis of blood samples analysis it was observed that the expression level of ABCB1 mRnA was growing in time. Higher levels were marked after 100 days and one year after the surgical intervention. The complementary pharmacological treatment induced higher expression levels of ABCB1. the presented data suggest an important role of ABCB1 in lung cancer, the increasing level of ABCB1 mRnA which can be connected with induction of multidrug resistance mechanism is also significant, that observation must be confirmed in further analysis.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika yang mengambil mata kuliah Aplikasi Komputer. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri atas 2 pertemuan. Data diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan angket kemandirian belajar. Hasil tes pemecahan masalah dari siklus I sampai dengan siklus III selalu mengalami peningkatan. Rata-rata tes pemecahan masalah pada siklus I sebesar 71,58; pada siklus II sebesar 76,67; dan pada siklus III sebesar 81,88. Data kemandirian belajar yang diambil menggunakan angket menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus berikutnya. Pada siklus I, rata-rata kemandirian belajar sebesar 60,53; pada siklus II sebesar 65,29; dan pada siklus III sebesar 68,12. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah aplikasi komputer.Abstract. This research was action research which aimed to improve the problem solving skills and the self-directed learning using problem based learning. The subject of the research was the student at the programme of study in mathematics education who took Computer Application courses. This research was held in three cycles in with two meetings at each cycle. The data were taken through problem solving skills test and self-directed learning questionnaire. The problem solving test result from the first to the third cycle shown an increase. The average first cycle was 71,58, the second cycle was 76,67, and the third cycle was 81,88. The result data of self-directed learning showed that there was an increase from the first cycle to the next cycle. In the first cycle, the average student's self-directed learning was 60,53, the second cycle was 65,29, and the third cycle was 68,12.

The Use of Innovative Pedagogical Technologies for Automation of the Specialists’ Professional Training

The purpose of this study was to find out how students and teachers perceive the automation of the specialists’ professional training process and the impact factors of perceiving the learning activity of such kind by students and faculty. The experimental model of automated learning was based on an express course in the academic subjects "Roman Private Law" and "Latin (Latin Law Phraseology)". The following methods were used to analyze the quantitative data: Chi-Square statistical method and triangulation. STATA Software was used to process the data. An online Text Analyzer utility was used to process the answers of the focus group respondents to determine the research categories. Automation of the professional training process has a positive impact on education and greatly enhances the opportunities for both teachers and students making it possible to effectively solve the key task of higher education – to teach the student an autonomous learning, as it forms the skills of managing their own time, self-organization, self-motivation, and reflection. Automation of the professional training process through the use of innovative pedagogical technologies brings about a number of new opportunities and advantages, such as: prominence (detailed elaboration of professional processes with different levels), interactivity (ability to control and influence the process), focusing (allows to remove distracting factors, to concentrate on the material). In the proposed automated model, Chatbot can be programmed so that the course participant will not feel the difference between the language of the real person and the machine. Queries that cannot be processed by Chatbot are answered by the course administrator/moderator via email. This model can be adapted and upgraded to teach other professionally oriented theoretical and applied courses. In addition, Chatbot can be used by higher education institutions in managing a university admissions process to provide applicants with information about admission requirements, programmes, specialties, etc.
