IntroThere is an inequality between pro‐environmental knowledge acquisition and behavior. A change in behavior is required to solve both current and future environmental challenges since human behavior has an influence on pro‐environmental practices.ObjectiveOf the study was to carry out a critical analysis of current literature on Pro‐environmental practices among the Young population.MethodThe research question formulation on PICO served as the foundation for the search approach. Keywords were searched in different combinations from the popular databases SCOPUS, PubMed, Medline, Google Scholar, EMBASE, Google and Cochrane library Boolean operators (AND and OR) and keywords were employed in the search to avoid oversaturating the data. Fifteen full‐text articles were selected for the study.ResultReview studies confirmed that youth engagement is highly valued, with evidence from increasing usage of information and communication technologies (education and environmental consciousness among young people. Analysis of pro‐environmental practices and environmental behavior has to be given greater attention considering to the adverse impacts of the existing lifestyle on the environment. This made it possible to incorporate and simultaneously explore a variety of variables and effects on environmental practices, furthering the understanding of how these are interpreted.ConclusionThis study pointed up and made contributions to the expanding field of environmental practices barriers. The challenges found should be taken into account in its entirety and utilized to directly inform policies and procedures in order to promote adoption for practices reduction and remove the obstacles inhibiting change.

Pro-environmental Behavior (PEB) yang diterapkan dalam kurikulum merupakan upaya percepatan perbaikan lingkungan. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan gambaran kategori PEB calon guru Fisika yang telah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan kurikulum terintegrasi PEB. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan merupakan angket dua dimensi 2-Major Environmental Values (2-MEV) yang telah dialihbahasakan dan disesuaikan dengan konteks Indonesia. Secara keseluruhan, responden yang telah mengisi angket sejumlah 63 calon guru Fisika yang telah menempuh mata kuliah berbasis lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas calon guru Fisika berada pada kategori Tinggi, dan tidak ada calon guru yang berada pada kategori rendah. Temuan ini mampu memperkuat bahwa aspek pendidikan, yang dalam hal ini diimplementasikan dalam kurikulum berbasis Hutan Tropika Basah dan Lingkungannya (HTB+L) ditambah dengan pembiasaan di lingkungan Universitas mampu berdampak positif terhadap PEB. Pada lingkup universitas mulawarman telah dilakukan upaya pembiasaan PEB melalui disediakannya sarana dan prasarana ramah lingkungan, hingga berbagai kegiatan terintegrasi PEB. Kurikulum berbasis lingkungan memiliki potensi dalam peningkatan PEB calon guru, baik melalui pembelajaran di kelas, dan berbagai kegiatan yang bersifat pembiasaan. Selain implementasi kurikulum yang mampu memperkuat pengetahuan lingkungan calon guru, perlu untuk dilengkapi dengan kegiatan kemahasiswaan atau pembiasaan yang berkaitan dengan lingkungn. Pada penelitian ini masih terbatas pada analisis aspek pengetahuan dalam kurikulum terhadap PEB, sehingga diperlukan penelitian lanjutan yang mengkaji aspek-aspek lain pembentuk PEB secara teoretis.

In response to growing environmental and sustainability concerns, the circular economy and consumption have become significant themes in recent years. The transition to a circular economy is considered a critical move toward sustainable development as it addresses challenges, such as climate change, waste, pollution and biodiversity loss. The present study evaluates the influence of environmental concerns and the search for pro‐sustainable information by Portuguese consumers on their circular habits and their influence on their circular consumption choices. Furthermore, it assesses the influence of environmental concerns and Portuguese consumers' search for pro‐sustainable information on their circular consumption when mediated by their circular habits. Through an online questionnaire, 826 valid responses were collected from Portuguese consumers over 18 years of age, using a non‐probabilistic convenience sampling technique. The hypotheses established in the research model were tested using the Partial Least Squares method. Results indicate that environmental concerns and the search for pro‐sustainable information positively impact circular habits, with more emphasis on energy and water saving, and zero plastic use. Additionally, environmental concerns and the search for pro‐sustainable information directly correlate with circular consumption decisions, although this relationship is less intense when mediated by circular habits. Based on the results obtained in this study, a model of consumer participation in the circular economy is proposed. Consumers' adherence to responsible circular consumption habits can transform traditional corporate business models into circular models, accelerating more efficient management of natural resources and ensuring global sustainability and future generations' survival.
