Bacillary angiomatosis in an HIV‐positive patient. Good response to Dapsone

Abstract: Object Report the case of a 25 year old HIV patient who developed bacillary angiomatosis. Setting Department of Dermatology, Centenary Hospital, Rosario, Argentina. Objective The patient failed to respond to the standard treatment with erythromycin. Result The patient showed improved by the administration of Dapsone along with Zidovudine. Conclusion This case is reported both because it is a rarely seen disease as well as because a good therapeutic response is obtained.
