A growing chorus of voices within universities, law schools, and justice-oriented advocacy organizations are now calling for the reform or revitalization of parole (Aviram, 2020;Beckett, 2018;Ghandnoosh, 2017;Mathews et al, 2018;Paparozzi & Caplan, 2009;Paparozzi & Guy, 2009;Rhine et al, 2017;Tonry, 2016).
