Abstract:A Estomatite Aftosa Recorrente (EAR) caracteriza-se como uma úlcera de fundo amarelado delimitado por um halo eritematoso que pode afetar toda a mucosa oral, variando em forma, tamanho e número. O processo de cicatrização das lesões dura em torno de 10 a 14 dias, com sintomatologia dolorosa e diminuição da qualidade de vida do paciente.
