Convergence and Innovation: The Conceptual and Methodological Basis of Technological Evolution and Cultural Complexity in Journalism

An effort to measure convergence quantitatively was proposed by López-García et al (2010) and applied by Javier Díaz- Noci (2014). This tool was based in evaluating the type of collaboration amongst media (usually of the same group), the flexibility of contents and the relationship amongst newsrooms of the same group.…”
