The industrial revolution is a fusion of automation technology with cyber. The current trend in the industrial world is starting to touch the virtual world with several systems such as cyber physical systems, internet of things (IoT), cloud computing, and cognitive computing. Revolution 4.0 implements intelligent technology that can be connected to various lines of life, including students’ needs. They must be active to form their entrepreneurial leadership to face these challenges. Absolutely, this must be supported by encouragement, collaboration and integration of learning in the field of entrepreneurship. The purposes of this research are to describe the steps of implementing the Miss Maya, to find and describe the advantages of Miss Maya in building a concrete entrepreneurial leadership, and to determine the effectiveness of Miss Maya in English learning. The method used is mix method; qualitative and quantitative research design. Primary data include references/ literature/ journals/ books related to the discussion. Secondary data include documentation and field data of the implementation obtained through observation and interviews. The results of this research are the implementation of Miss Maya can be done through the preparation, implementation and assessment. Through t-test analysis which showed that sig. (2-tailed) of all = 0.000 and the probability less than 0.05, Miss Maya is an effective strategy to be used in English learning. Miss Maya is a futuristic imaginative integrative English learning method with six main elements of doing business which is expected to be able to foster the students’ entrepreneurial leadership to face the industrial revolution 4.0.

This research was conducted in order to 1) find the English teachers' perceptions on the implementation of the authentic assessment, 2) find students' perceptions on their teachers' implementation of the authentic assessment, and 3) see if there is a significant difference between teachers' and students' perceptions on the implementation of the authentic assessment. 122 English teachers and 366 students of 41 schools were involved in this research. Questionnaire is the instrument of the research used to collect the data. It was deployed to the teacher and the students. The data were analyzed to find their response rate category in each indicator of authentic assessment. Then, Mann-Whitney test was also used to see whether there is a significant difference between the teacher and the students' perception. The results of the analyses revealed that English teachers' perception on the implementation of authentic assessment is, in average, classified into good category. The students, in general, perceived that their teachers' authentic assessment implementation is categorized into good level. Despite of this result, there is statistically significant difference between the teachers' and the students' perceptions on the implementation of the authentic assessment. These differences are discussed in the present research.

The main purpose of this study was to improve a self-assessment tool for speaking competency of the seven grade students of junior high school. The focus of this study was specifically on; 1) finding out the types of self-assessment needed to be improved; 2) Improving the prototype of a self-assessment tool; and 3) examining the quality of the improved self-assessment tools. This study used R&D method of Gall & Borg (2003) as design model. The subjects of this study were six English teachers and a syllabus for the seven grade students of junior high school. The data were obtained through questionnaire, interview, observation and syllabus analysis. The results revealed that there were two form of self-assessment tools needed to be developed, namely linguistic aspect and non-linguistic aspect self-assessment. The prototype of self-assessment tools were improved by considering the need analysis results and grand theory. The tools were validated and revised by two expert judges and user judges. Based on the validation from expert judges and user judges, the quality of the improved self-assessment tools was categorized as excellent instruments with very high validity.
