Abstract: Zusammenfassung Die regionalen Auswirkungen des demographischen Wandels in Deutschland, die künftige Alterung und Schrumpfung der Bevölkerung, hängen stark von der Entwicklung der Binnenwanderung ab. Wie sich diese künftig unter Bedingungen von Alterung und Schrumpfung verändern wird, lässt sich auf der Grundlage gegenwärtiger Trends nicht voraussagen.
