In comparative study done in China and USA by Wang H [14] common finding was polyps both in China and USA followed by colitis.In the study done in Rawalpindi [4], inflammatory bowel disease was dominant colonoscopy finding.…”

“…Less opting for colonoscopy in females could be due to social factors , lack of education ,feel of discomfort and embarrassment in telling to family members and physicians regarding ano-rectal pathology and carrying out the procedure itself. Mean age of patient who underwent colonoscopy were 46.9 years ,43.5 years and 56.4 years respectively by Osinowo et al, 13 and Ismaila et al, 14 and Arigbabu et al, 15 in three different centers in Nigeria. Mean ages of 60.6 years and 50 years respectively were recorded in studies done by Plummer et al, 16 in Jamaica , and by Salamat et al, 8 in Pakistan.…”
