“…The rate of treatment efficacy in the 24 labyrinthine hemorrhage patients was 33.3% (8/24), and 1 patient was even cured. Jan et al 18 and Chen et al 19 separately identified labyrinthine hemorrhage patients with potential word recognition scores recovery during at least 6 months follow-up, despite no improvement in PTA in the affected ear, either spontaneously or via corticosteroid intervention. We suggest that 3D-FLAIR MRI should be routinely performed as early as possible for patients with sudden deafness.…”
