Abstract:The synthesis and characterization of Au3+ -modified UiO-67 metal-organic framework nanoparticles, Au 3+ -NMOFs, are described. The Au 3+ -NMOFs reveal dual oxidase-like and peroxidase-like activities and act as an active catalyst for the catalyzed generation of O 2 •− under aerobic conditions or •OH in the presence of H 2 O 2 . In this work, we introduce hydroxyl radicals into the electrocatalytic nitrogen oxidation reaction (NOR) for the first time. Co3O4 + ˙OH shows an excellent NOR performance among Co3O4 catalysts in 0.1 M Na2SO4 solution.
